Originally from Venice, Italy, I have called the UK home for the past 18 years.
My interest in understanding people and their wellbeing began over 20 years ago, when I came across a book on herbal remedies in a small Italian market. That discovery led me to study naturopathy and work as a herbalist in Italy.
Over time, I became increasingly interested in the relationship between our emotional experiences, thoughts, behaviour and physical wellbeing. I wanted to understand not only what people were experiencing, but also how their personal histories, relationships and circumstances influenced the way they understood themselves.
This curiosity eventually led me towards psychology, counselling and psychotherapy.
I completed a bachelor's degree in psychology, followed by a Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in Existential Psychotherapy. I am currently in my fourth year of doctoral training in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy in London.
My earlier training in complementary approaches, including EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), Applied kinesiology and Ayurveda, also contributed to my interest in the relationship between emotional and bodily experiences.
My own experiences have influenced my interest in emotional awareness and self-understanding. I know what it can be like to struggle to make sense of difficult feelings, particularly when we lack the language or support to understand what we are experiencing.
Self Healing Clinic grew from this interest in making psychological reflections and resources accessible to people who want to understand themselves more deeply.
Alongside my clinical work, I write about emotions, self-worth, identity, relationships and the patterns we develop throughout our lives. My writing has appeared in publications including Tiny Buddha, The Mind's Journal, Brainz Magazine, Medium, Collective World and Elephant Journal.
I work with adults who want to explore their emotional experiences, understand recurring patterns and develop a deeper awareness of themselves.
My approach is integrative, with a foundation in existential psychotherapy. This means that, alongside exploring emotions and past experiences, I am interested in how we make sense of our lives, the meanings we give to our experiences, and how these influence our relationships, choices and sense of self.
I believe that we already hold important knowledge about our own experiences, even when that understanding is difficult to access or put into words. Therapy offers a space where we can begin to explore this together.
I don’t follow a fixed script or assume that everyone needs the same approach. Sessions are guided by what you bring, what feels important to explore and what emerges through our conversations.
I pay attention to the relationship between thoughts, emotions, behaviour and bodily experiences, while remaining curious about the personal, relational and social circumstances in which these experiences have developed.
Sometimes our work may involve exploring earlier experiences and how they continue to influence the present. At other times, it may involve questions about identity, relationships, expectations, uncertainty or the choices we face.
I see therapy as a collaborative process, where curiosity, reflection and honest conversation allow us to explore different ways of understanding our experiences.
If something in my approach resonates with you, you may wish to explore the resources available on Self Healing Clinic or learn more about counselling sessions.
Self Healing Clinic is a space created to support emotional awareness and healing. It offers accessible resources to help you understand your emotions, reconnect with yourself, and move towards a more peaceful inner life.
Reflections and articles that explore emotions, inner healing, and self-understanding.
Free resources, including emotional toolkits and guided practices.
Psychotherapy sessions and self-paced programmes for deeper emotional work.
Self Healing Clinic is built on the belief that healing starts within. External guidance can be helpful, but transformation happens when we start listening to our own emotional language.
I deeply understand how challenging it can be to face and heal our emotions. While the support and guidance of others can be incredibly valuable, the essence of true healing lies within us.
