It stimulates key meridian points, helping to calm the part of your nervous system that holds on to old patterns. By combining tapping with carefully worded statements, you communicate your intentions directly to your mind and body.

Tapping this area influences the triple warmer meridian, which regulates stress and energy flow in the body. When the nervous system is calmer, your brain becomes more open to learning, making it easier to introduce positive affirmations and create new habits.
Step-by-Step Guide
Identify the habit, belief, or emotional response you want to change.
Create a simple statement in the present tense describing the change you want. For example, “I easily speak up for myself” or “I am confident asking for what I need.”
Restate it in a negative form, keeping the meaning positive: “I no longer feel afraid to speak up.”
Tap the left side of your head around the temple, ear, and base of the skull with your three middle fingers while repeating the negative statement 6–7 times.
Tap the right side using your positive statement 6–7 times.
Repeat this multiple times per day for the best results.
Tips for Success
Ensure both statements feel relevant to you. If they don't resonate, the technique will be less effective.
Keep statements short, specific, and in the present tense. For example, instead of “I am confident,” try “I feel confident when I speak in meetings.”
