Within each of us lives an inner child and inner teenager, the younger versions of ourselves who have experienced pain, emotional challenges, and unmet needs. These parts of us continue to influence how we think, feel, and relate to others as adults.

Why is healing the inner child and inner teenager important?

The experiences from childhood and adolescence shape our beliefs, behaviours, and emotional patterns as adults. When these early years involved neglect, emotional difficulties, or unhealed wounds, they can still affect us today, holding us back from living fully and experiencing emotional balance.

This program invites you to gently explore your past and become aware of how your inner child and inner teenager have been shaped by those experiences. For instance, if your six-year-old self experienced difficult moments, that same six-year-old may still react and become triggered in present-day situations because those early needs were never fully met.

You might notice feelings of fear when someone raises their voice, just as you did as a child.

Or, you might find it hard to express affection if you were taught, perhaps unintentionally, that it wasn’t appropriate, or if you didn’t receive much affection yourself.

You may also carry beliefs that you are not good enough to pursue your dreams, sometimes reflecting the doubts your caregivers held, which you absorbed as your own.
